They exchanged e-mails over an year. Trust had built up & they were always eager to get that 1 email in their inboxes. He told her about his new business & she told him about her new hobby classes. They had a world of their own.
It was her birthday & she awaited that 1 e-mail. At 11pm, an e-mail popped & brought a smile on her glum face. It read..
“Happy birthday my dear R”. I can’t fall in love with you. I’m married. Attached is my picture.
She read the e-mail over a 100 times. She opened his pictures he’d sent her & noticed the diamond sparkling on his wedding finger. She still thought it was all a joke & he would send a real surprise. She hurriedly pressed the Reply button & typed-
Stop joking you R. Give me my real surprise.
And pressed Send. It gave the same error the 100 times- Message cannot be sent. The e-mail id doesnot exist anymore.
Her world had crashed down. All she could do was read all his emails again & realize the truth.
Love- Love can hurt, real bad. Know a person well before you let your heart fall madly in love. Love is a real surprise when you fall for the right person, but it can be a real mess when it’s a wrong person.
They met at a common friends meetup. Facebook requests were sent, e-mails were exchanged but nobody thought they will fall in love. Those two, who took all decisions from their brain & kept their heart at bay. Something struck, not the heart; but the brains. Having a common interest for a lot of things, they started talking. Every now and then, their convos moved from SMS to Facebook to Emails to Chats to Phone calls.
1 year passed & things started changing, but only for her. Maybe her heart had started falling for someone, but she was not sure. She loved talking to him all the time. One person she would talk to, discuss every detail about her life, joke & indulge in leg pulling- it was him. But he wanted to make it big & not think about love. Love was not an option or a choice for him, which she knew very well.
Days passed and she felt more & more confused whether she should confess or not. But someone else was very sure he felt the same. He did special things but she could not notice since she was new to this feeling of Love. She thought he did it all as a friend.
Until one day, when somehow he pushed her to confess her feelings. To tell what was bothering her all the time. Well, at the end, she did confess but with a fear that he would say no.
Viola, it was a yes. It was a yes from the guy who did not want to think about it now. And they are together, hoping to let their hearts talk finally. Hoping to make some moments in which their brain don’t have a say. To finally be the lovers their heart wanted them to be.
Love- It can happen even if you are totally against it. Don’t go by what you/other person thinks; because you never know when the feelings change. You never know when the heart starts talking.
And she had to end it. It was getting unbearable for her to take the pain. She never thought Love would give her so much pain, transform her into a feeling-less robot. All she wanted now was peace. He couldn’t believe she did what he had been doing all this time, leaving her; only thing different was she was determined to never return back.
He tried all means to get her back. He tried to make her remember all the good times but her heart had turned into a stone. He tried to make her lonely by spreading false news to her friends. She stayed quiet, not wanting to do anything. Her true friends stayed with her like a rock. He tried to tell her family but her family supported her. She knew it was not her mistake, he deserved it. All this time, he turned into a monster while she kept silent. Few months later, he realized his mistakes & tried to apologize. But he had already done more harm than he realized.
It’s been 5 years & he still waits for forgiveness from her. He never leaves a chance to apologize. But she has her life, a life with no place for someone who never knew the true meaning of love. She is happy today, without him, without his love. And he, is still waiting for forgiveness & by the looks of it, shall have to wait his entire life.
Love- Love never teaches you to make someone’s life hell. Remember the person you’re hurting is the same person you love. Even if things don’t work out, don’t turn into a monster. Try to make peace with things.
His family asked him to stay away from her, for she was a Muslim. Her family instructed her to stay away from him, for he was a Hindu. But Love never taught them to differentiate between religions, it just taught them to love, with all their heart, with a motive to keep the other one happy. They had to lie to their families to meet, had to communicate through friends, leave indirect messages for each other. For they knew, nothing could separate them after being together for 7 years.
They knew problems would come at every step, giving up looked like a better option. But they held onto each other, for they knew Love shall win. And when it’s true Love, after a point, families too realize.
Today, they are going for their honeymoon to Newzealand, the place they always wanted to make love.
Love- True Love holds on to each other through tough times & wins the battle in the end. Giving up may look easy, but those who hold on, experience love all their life.
His heart was walked over by someone he loved more than his life. She left him for a guy who partied every night. He had shut the doors of his heart & wrote about his feelings in a diary.
She found the diary in a library. With every page, she found herself falling in love with his words. She thought- How do I find this guy? I will heal his heart without expecting anything. I will fill his life with love & instill in him a reason to live. She met him the next day while he was trying to find his diary on the same table. He took the diary & quickly left, hoping she had not read it; for she would think of him as a loser. They met everyday & she tried to talk to him. He slowly opened to her but maintained a distance. He didn’t realize it but he was happier than before. She would meet him everyday, crack jokes, know about his life, tell him about her project, share music, give him movie recommendations & in the entire process, transformed him bit by bit. His writing in the diary started changing. He wrote about happy things & she knew her work was done. There was no love involved, yet a feeling of oneness bonded them. He came to the library, only to find a letter which read-
“I am going back to my country. Stay happy & meet me if you ever come here. Start beleiving in love, for love shall find you again. You deserve all the happiness in this world. I love you my friend, now & forever.”
This letter filled his heart with love & life. And he started living yet again.

It was his birthday. He was waiting for her call. He didn’t love her but enjoyed her company. He wanted her to be the first one to wish him, wanted to party with her & make it a memorable day like he’s been doing for the past 5 years.
12:00 am- No call, no texts.
He waited for another 2 hours but was disappointed. He slept with the phone in his hand expecting her to call.
All through the day, he got a lot of birthday wishes from everyone except her. Did she forget or is she playing a prank on me, he thought?
At 8pm, he logs in to his Facebook & sees that she was out with a guy all day. He hurriedly texts her to come to their favourite Ice cream parlour in 30 minutes.
I love you D. I know I’ve been a fool all these years. But how could you go out with him when it was my birthday. You know I am a loser when it comes to expressing emotions, you should have understood by the way I treat you, by the way I look at you, by the way I care for you.
She wanted to laugh & exclaim her happiness, but all she could do was hug him. She was happy to have him, for life. The hug felt different & special.
Love- Love will find a place, if not now, tomorrow, or someday. True love is togetherness & fondness, and being thankful for just that 1 person in your life.
He buzzed her on Gtalk.
He- DND? Really?
She- Oh yes, but few people are barred from it.
He- And me?
She- What do you want to hear?
He- I know I am barred.
She- Someone is pretty overconfident.
He- Someone has been talking to me even with the DND status.
She- Shut up. Say what happened.
He- Just wanted to disturb you.
She- Let me work, else I’ll disturb you for life.
He- Who has stopped you?
She- Sheeeshh
That was their first conversation. Minutes to hours, they started talking everyday. The day started with the buzz & ended with a phone call. She ignored everyone else to talk to him. He made her feel special. Soon enough, they had a small world of their own.
Slowly the word they detested, “Love” stopped by. They couldn’t resist the feeling & gave in. Things started changing & it all felt like a mistake. Fights, tears, misunderstandings were all that were left.
And soon they parted ways. Love left them before they could trust each other, before they could solve the issues one last time. Yet they wish they could have the DND conversation again & pass by the detested emotion “Love”, yet be in each other’s life forever.
Love- Not everyone in love is meant to be together. After a point, even people in love cannot solve the issues cropping between them. Best one can do is, to let it be & just be happy that they felt the feeling of Love.
